Daniel S. Elimelech is an associate attorney in the Litigation Division of Anidjar & Levine’s Ft. Lauderdale office. Mr. Elimelech handles personal injury lawsuits, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites, and represents individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others.
Prior to joining Anidjar & Levine, P.A., Mr. Elimelech practiced first-party insurance litigation, defending one of Florida’s largest insurance companies in personal injury protection claims.
Mr. Elimelech also served as a senior attorney for the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families (DCF). While at DCF, Mr. Elimelech gained substantial litigation experience, including first-chair trial experience, prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases in Miami-Dade County.
Upon completion of law school, he served as an attorney for FIU’s Immigrant Children’s Justice Clinic, where he advocated for abandoned and abused immigrant children seeking legal status in the U.S.
Mr. Elimelech obtained his Juris Doctorate from Florida International University College of Law. During his studies, Daniel spent two semesters working as a certified legal intern at Florida International University College of Law for the Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. There, he argued before the U.S. Immigration Court, successfully attaining the release of a political asylee from immigration detention and the restoration of his legal residency status. Daniel also presented for an asylum interview, where he secured the legal residency of a young male fleeing his home country due to persecution for his sexual orientation. During law school, Daniel also served as a certified legal intern for Legal Services of Greater Miami where he provided critical legal advice to low-income families and individuals facing eviction or foreclosure.
Daniel received his B.A. from the University of Miami where he double majored in Philosophy and Geography and minored in Religious Studies. There, he obtained honorable recognition on the Dean’s and Provost’s Lists.
